Opportunities

The Concord Consortium is a non-profit research and development organization dedicated to realizing the potential for technology to improve the quality of education. We are currently focused on math/science computer modeling, online learning across disciplines, pedagogy (learning about learning), and sustainable development education.

Staff Positions

Thank you for your interest in The Concord Consortium. We currently have the following open positions:

Consultants and Contractors

CC is always in search of high-quality consultants and contractors for small projects, including java programming, flash development, graphic design, curriculum development, writing, photography and more. Please email your resume and an introductory letter to webmaster@concord.org.

Internships

Internship opportunities exist at CC for high school and college students interested in working any one of a number of areas. On occasion, the Concord Consortium has a specific need related to specific skills. However, in most cases, we prefer that students interested in our projects come to us with their ideas.

Sabbaticals

Opportunities exist for faculty on-leave at the Concord Consortium. People have visited with us from a wide variety of geographic areas and disciplines. For example, Iris Bijll, a physics teacher from Holland recently collaborated with Senior Scientist, George Collison to pilot the projects and materials for the INTEC courses.

Other Opportunities

If you have ideas you would like to share with us - please contact: Robert Tinker at the Concord Consortium.

What if Builder - Fish

What if Builder - Fish
The “Fish Story” starts with a simple scenario. The reader follows one of two possible story lines, thinking about the consequences of each decision.

The What if Builder software was developed by our Education for a Sustainable Future project.
