Voltage and Current Probe
The TEEMSS Voltage and Current Probe can measure voltage and current simultaneously. The product of these measurements is Power in Watts and the integration of Power over time is Energy in Joules. The probe measures +/- 20 volts and +/- 2 amps. The different values are reported by the probe simultaneously to both the fast 10-bit and slow 24-bit input channels of the probe port.
Voltage and Current Probe Specifications:
| Range | Slow, 3Hz | Fast, 200Hz | Positive Lead | Negative Lead | |
| Voltage | +/- 20V | 40 micro-volts | 40 milli-volts | Red | Black |
| Current | +/- 2A | 4 micro-amps | 4 milli-amps | Yellow | Green |
The probe and interface only collect voltage and current readings. The CCProbe software
can use these data to calculate and display Watts and Joules.

Voltage and Current Probe
Operation:
Two differential instrumentation opamps are used to measure both current and coltage.
The current is measured by reading the voltage drop across a 0.01 shunt resistor.
